With any great weight loss plan comes exercise. Problem is, most of us will find an excuse to not get off our ass. Personally, I love being at the gym and you can find me working out anywhere from four to six times a week. Of course, working out and becoming healthier takes a little time away from my two year old. However, in the long term it gives me a boost of confidence and far more energy than sitting on the couch eating potato chips.
What has been helpful this week?
1.) Reading other blogs about weight loss.
2.) Re-posting inspirations photos and quotes via Facebook.
3.) Have a fabulous water bottle that was provided by Nutrisystem to keep track of my daily water intake. Without this I’m not sure if I would be able to accomplish 64+ ounces daily.
4.) Finding friends who share the same goals and love to workout with me.
Now, to the dreaded weekly weigh in: So far I am holding steady. I did not gain nor did I lose this week. I feel like I’m still putting on more muscle and as most of you know muscle takes up less space than fat. Check out the photo below of a 5 pounds of fat vs. 5 pounds of muscle. Impressive?
