Nearly five years ago my doctor gave me that look. The look that I needed to change a few things in my life. I was informed I had gestational diabetes and the life of my unborn son relied on the choices I made for the remainder of the pregnancy.
Knowing this, I was completely scared to mess up and took the advice from the professionals. Luckily, I haven’t had any issues since my son was born. With gestational diabetes it doens’t always end when the woman delivers. Theirs a high chance she can encounter diabetes 1 and diabetes 2 later in life.
