My Fitness Pal is an awesome site for beginners. You can log your daily intake of food and your cardiovascular activities for free. And I also love IdealShape shakes as they are low in calorie and fulfilling. I also, highly recommend using the BodyMedia HR Monitor. This HR encourages a harder and more fulfilling workout. I wear it as well as my Zaggora HotPants every morning when I work out.
